“The Duraseal System consists of sterile components for the preparation of an innovative hydrogel sealant and an applicator. The synthetic absorbable sealant is composed of two solutions, a polyethylene glycol (PEG) ester solution and a trilysine amine solution (referred to as ‘bright’ and ‘blue’ precursors respectively). When mixed, the cross-linking hydrogel precursors that form the sealant are absorbed in approximately 4 to 8 weeks, allowing time for healing.”
