Description

INTRASITE™ Gel is a transparent amorphous hydrogel dressing composed of partially hydrated sodium carboxymethylcellulose, propylene glycol and purified water.

It is designed to maintain a moist environment that supports the wound-healing process. Its rehydrating action helps soften and remove necrotic tissue and slough through autolytic debridement, while absorbing excess exudate and protecting viable tissue and the surrounding skin.

• Skin graft donor and recipient sites.

• Superficial, deep or undermined wounds containing necrotic tissue or slough.

INTRASITE™ Gel should be applied under medical supervision using an aseptic technique. After the gel has been applied to the wound, it should be covered with a suitable secondary dressing to keep it in place.
