Description
ACTICOAT FLEX 7 is a highly flexible antimicrobial dressing made from a stretchable polyester layer coated with nanocrystalline silver. It is designed to conform closely to body contours and maintain contact with the wound bed, including anatomically challenging areas.
The nanocrystalline silver begins working approximately 30 minutes after application and provides broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity against more than 360 microorganisms, including Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria, fungi, and resistant strains such as MRSA.
Indications
ACTICOAT FLEX 7 may be used as an antimicrobial barrier in the professional management of:
- Pressure ulcers.
- Venous and other leg ulcers.
- Diabetic foot ulcers.
- Partial- and full-thickness burns.
- Acute or traumatic wounds.
- Postoperative wounds.
- Chronic wounds with critical colonization or risk of infection.
- Skin graft donor and recipient sites.
- Fungal skin lesions, according to medical assessment.
- Wounds managed with negative pressure wound therapy.

The product should be used under the supervision of a healthcare professional. It should not be combined with oil-based products or worn during magnetic resonance imaging procedures.
