Description
DURAFIBER™ Ag is a nonwoven antimicrobial dressing made from cellulose ethyl sulphonate gelling fibres impregnated with ionic silver.
On contact with wound exudate, the fibres rapidly form a soft, transparent gel that conforms closely to the wound bed. The gel absorbs and retains excess fluid, maintains a moist wound environment and supports autolytic debridement.
INDICATIONS
- Acute and chronic wounds.
- Partial- and full-thickness wounds.
- Shallow granulating wounds.
- Moderately to heavily exuding wounds.
- Cavity wounds.
- Infected wounds, when used according to the appropriate clinical protocol.
